Davyhulme Primary School, Davyhulme
Y5 are busy working on an exciting project to do with the play 'King Lear ' by William Shakespeare. They will be performing their work at the Royal Exchange in Manchester later this year which means they will not be able to perform the Passion Play in school next week as there is a lot of work involved in the Shakespeare project. Key Stage 2 pupils (Y3 -Y6 ) will be singing many of the songs from ' Hosanna ! ' next week in the Junior hall. The singing will be led by Y6 during a special 'one-off ' assembly. Parents, carers and friends from the community will not be able to attend on this occassion because of the Health and safety limits on hall capacity. | This Month's Value is... Respect!

Armistice Day - Two Minutes Silence

11th Nov 2020

The Whole school observed two minutes silence today at 11am - The Nursery , Reception and KS1 Bubbles all gathered , Socially Distanced , in the Infant playground. The Infant children were magnificent in how they behaved and showed respect .

It was very moving how they conducted themselves during our short ceremony and even more touching to see them approach the broken ground ( which took on the appearance of a grave ) and then carefully place the wreaths and individual clay poppies.
