Davyhulme Primary School, Davyhulme
Y5 are busy working on an exciting project to do with the play 'King Lear ' by William Shakespeare. They will be performing their work at the Royal Exchange in Manchester later this year which means they will not be able to perform the Passion Play in school next week as there is a lot of work involved in the Shakespeare project. Key Stage 2 pupils (Y3 -Y6 ) will be singing many of the songs from ' Hosanna ! ' next week in the Junior hall. The singing will be led by Y6 during a special 'one-off ' assembly. Parents, carers and friends from the community will not be able to attend on this occassion because of the Health and safety limits on hall capacity. | This Month's Value is... Respect!

Inter-Team Crosscountry Championships

20th Mar 2018

Every Year Group had the chance to compete against each other whilst scoring points for their team of either Blue , Green , Red or Yellow. In the dry cold weather the children performed superbly round our track as boys and girls ran their hearts out in separate races for Y3 , Y4 , Y5 and Y6 . Well done everyone with special thanks to Mrs Coates , Mr Reynolds and Mr Burke for taking the lead in organising the event .

Congratulations to the Yellow Team who came first , the Red Team who were second , the Green Team who were in third place and the Blue Team in fourth place. Well done to all who took part and especially everyone who managed to complete the challenging course around our beautiful school grounds.
