After a few very busy weeks Mrs Brundrett and her artistic creative team , ably led by Mrs Sales ( aided by Mrs Jenkins among others ) directed an army of tiny little fingers to complete our Snowman in time to meet the deadline.
The theme was ' the Twelve Days of Christmas 'and our children put their very own Davyhulme spin on it. For example the snowman is wearing a scarf in our school colours , there is an owl where there should be a partridge in a pear tree ( we have pear trees in our orchard ) and the hat he wears is adorned with images of many of our children in KS1 and EYFS.
The finished snowman was revealed to the infant children and Y3 following their rehearsal while the junior children got to see the big ' reveal ' in their hall. The snowman is now wrapped up waiting to be picked up and put on display at Media City over the Christmas period ...make sure you watch out for him !
