Y5 are busy working on an exciting project to do with the play 'King Lear ' by William Shakespeare. They will be performing their work at the Royal Exchange in Manchester later this year which means they will not be able to perform the Passion Play in school next week as there is a lot of work involved in the Shakespeare project. Key Stage 2 pupils (Y3 -Y6 ) will be singing many of the songs from ' Hosanna ! ' next week in the Junior hall. The singing will be led by Y6 during a special 'one-off ' assembly. Parents, carers and friends from the community will not be able to attend on this occassion because of the Health and safety limits on hall capacity. | This Month's Value is... Respect!

Poet Visits School

26th Apr 2018

The children in Key Stage 2 enjoyed a visit from the poet, Matt  Goodfellow today. He told us some very funny stories and shared some of his fantastic poems with us. We thoroughly enjoyed listening to Matt, and many of the children also bought a copy of his book. Thank you to Urmston Bookshop for organising this event. Keep reading everyone!
