Y5 are busy working on an exciting project to do with the play 'King Lear ' by William Shakespeare. They will be performing their work at the Royal Exchange in Manchester later this year which means they will not be able to perform the Passion Play in school next week as there is a lot of work involved in the Shakespeare project. Key Stage 2 pupils (Y3 -Y6 ) will be singing many of the songs from ' Hosanna ! ' next week in the Junior hall. The singing will be led by Y6 during a special 'one-off ' assembly. Parents, carers and friends from the community will not be able to attend on this occassion because of the Health and safety limits on hall capacity. | This Month's Value is... Respect!

Kath Mallon - Rest In Peace .

1st Mar 2021

Kath Mallon served our school community for a number of decades as both a cleaner and midday assistant . Kath worked mainly in the infant school as she had a special connection with our younger children and thrived off their energy , innocence and love of life.
Kath was a character full of life who loved the craic and would often engage in banter with myself on a whole range of school based topics . She retired a few years ago but would often call in to have a chat with former colleagues so it was a great shock to learn of her passing over half - term ...she will be greatly missed by by everyone in our school community.
