Davyhulme Primary School, Davyhulme
Y5 are busy working on an exciting project to do with the play 'King Lear ' by William Shakespeare. They will be performing their work at the Royal Exchange in Manchester later this year which means they will not be able to perform the Passion Play in school next week as there is a lot of work involved in the Shakespeare project. Key Stage 2 pupils (Y3 -Y6 ) will be singing many of the songs from ' Hosanna ! ' next week in the Junior hall. The singing will be led by Y6 during a special 'one-off ' assembly. Parents, carers and friends from the community will not be able to attend on this occassion because of the Health and safety limits on hall capacity. | This Month's Value is... Respect!

The Great Flood - “ The worst I have seen in Twenty Years at Davyhulme Primary School “(Mr McDowell).

20th Jan 2021

Many years ago I moved the school pond to it’s present location because I noticed over a period of time that the corner was susceptible to flooding ...goodness me ...I would have never suspected in a million years that it would ever flood as badly as we have seen today on Wednesday 20th January 2021. If you look carefully you will see I took my motor launch out for a spin! ( Mr McDowell ).
