Y5 are busy working on an exciting project to do with the play 'King Lear ' by William Shakespeare. They will be performing their work at the Royal Exchange in Manchester later this year which means they will not be able to perform the Passion Play in school next week as there is a lot of work involved in the Shakespeare project. Key Stage 2 pupils (Y3 -Y6 ) will be singing many of the songs from ' Hosanna ! ' next week in the Junior hall. The singing will be led by Y6 during a special 'one-off ' assembly. Parents, carers and friends from the community will not be able to attend on this occassion because of the Health and safety limits on hall capacity. | This Month's Value is... Respect!

Football Success

4th Jun 2019

A massive well done to the football teams this year.

Last week, the Girls’ Team won 3, drew 1 and lost 1, scoring some great goals to end the season on a high by finishing 3rd!

The A Team had a fantastic season and played some brilliant football to win the Urmston & District Big School League, but lost in the League Playoff.

A special mention to the Year 2 Football Team that played superbly and finished 3rd in a tournament this week. The future is bright!

Well done to everyone who has represented the school on any of the teams this year!
