Cancellation of Visits to ChristChurch for ' Come to the Crib Service ' and ' Christmas Light Service '. It is with much sadness and great reluctance that we have taken this decision but we must be extremely cautious in trying to protect and preserve our Nativity Plays and other school activities in the 'run up ' to Christmas. | Covid Variants - We would ask all parents and carers to remain vigilant - continue to follow the basics - face coverings - keeping distance - All of our performances with the Infant Nativities and Y4 Christmas Play will go ahead with restrictions . We will remain in constant touch with the LA and Trafford Public Health and we will take immediate action to avoid widespread outbreaks. Up to now we have been very fortunate thanks to your vigilance and support - keep it up so we can get to Christmas without too much disruption.

Our Tribute to ‘ the Fallen ‘ - Fashioned out of an old pallet by the talented Mr Harrison ! Our Children were fantastic and respected the two minutes silence magnificently !

11th Nov 2021

Our soldier and cross will take pride of place in our ceremony of two minutes silence at 11am today and will be on display for the remainder of November for parents and carers to see outside the infant hall. Our figure will be surrounded by wreaths made by the children using a variety of materials. I am always moved by the sight of the tiny clay wreaths made by tiny hands ( the next generations ) which are placed in our bed of remembrance to return to the soil over the next 12 months when the elements ensure that they are absorbed by the earth once again …

We are reminded of so many things at this poignant time …sacrifice , youth , the cycle of life and death , renewal of promises made to those who have passed before us and a commitment to care for the soil and the earth we inhabit not just for those a live now but for the generations to come.
