The Great Fire of Davyhulme...

13th Jan 2022

The children in Key Stage 1 (Years 1&2) have been learning all about The Great Fire of London in their History lessons. Parents and children built some model houses similar to those that were around in 1666. Today, the children we able to see exactly how the fire spread: houses made of combustible materials; houses too close together; a very dry period of time; and finally, wind!

This was a great experience for our children!
