Hello and welcome to Year 6! We hope you have had a good rest over the summer and will come back refreshed and ready to work! In English we will be looking at the book, Letters from the Lighthouse by Emma Carroll. This is a fantastic book and it links perfectly with our topic for the Autumn Term- World War II. We will be doing lots of great pieces of art and writing based on this topic and we are sure it something the children will enjoy greatly. In Science, we will be looking at the human circulatory system focusing on the heart. In mathematics we will be continuing our focus on fractions, multiplication, long division and obviously much more!
