Author Visit

Today, the author Ryan Hammond visited our school. He is the author and illustrator of the Villains Academy series of books. Ryan talked to us about the villainous characters that he has created, and he also read part of his new book, How To Steal A Dragon. Ryan asked all the children to design and draw their own evil characters which they all really enjoyed. Ryan then taught everyone how to draw Bram, one of the main characters in his books. Finally, Ryan answered questions about being an author and the writing process. Some of our children bought copies of Ryan’s books which he kindly signed. We have purchased two copies for our school library as well. Thank you to Urmston Bookshop once again for organising this visit.
